On January 24th, 2000, Jean Smith, a passionate and driven real estate visionary with a heart for the people of Kuils River, founded Kuils River Estates. Little did Jean know, this was the beginning of a remarkable journey that would transform the local property market for over two decades. Starting humbly, Kuils River Estates soon grew beyond its original space and moved to a prominent location on Kuils River’s main road in 2004.
By 2005, Jean had acquired a property at the corner of Klein Street and Langverwacht Road, soon recognized as the “blue building” – a landmark in the heart of Kuils River. Under Jean’s inspiring leadership, Kuils River Estates quickly established itself as a cornerstone of the community. Her dedication to service, ethical standards, and genuine care for her clients left a profound impact on everyone she encountered. Though Jean sadly passed in 2021, her legacy lives on in the agency’s commitment to excellence, community, and trust.
